H-SC took a 31-0 home shutout victory past Guilford (NC) in its first ODAC game of the season on Oct. 5 on Fulton Field at Lewis C. Everett Stadium. The Tigers led 7-0 at halftime, before outscoring the visitors 24-0 in the second half for their third consecutive victory and first shutout since March 5, 2021 (during the COVID-19 spring season, 26-0 vs. Shenandoah). W&L enjoyed a home shutout, as well, 35-0 past Averett, leading 21-0 at halftime and adding 14 unanswered points in the second half. H-SC is competing in its 130th season of football, and the Tigers are enjoying their 49th year as a charter member of the ODAC. W&L is also a charter member of the ODAC.

Head Coach Vince Luvara
H-SC is led by the first-year head coach who took over the program on December 7, 2023. The former defensive coordinator at Washington & Jefferson (PA) College since 2016, Luvara becomes the 29th head coach in the 130-year history of the storied Hampden-Sydney program. The Series
